Bushki and I love
to make belts. We love collecting the Indian ,Afghani and Pakistani
vintagetextiles and fabrics for belts and bases. These are sewn together to which old
coins, buttons, Afghani beaded circles[guls], metal fringe, cowrie shells,
hand embroidery and lastly the tassels are added.
Each
belt is unique. Each belt starts a journey which can be added to with
amulets and mementos of friendship and experience.
The belts are available in shades of
yellow, orange, pink, red, blue,
green or purple. Or make a suggestion and we'll try our best to
find a shade right for you!
Tassels
can be wrapped in black, contrasting or a matching colour.

matching these belts , however each belt will be an original!
Our tribal bras can also be matched[
or not] to your belt of choice.....let us know if you prefer

These pieces are
antiques and are in great condition. They are from a
regional tribe in afghanistan called the Hazargi, and are
originally the sleeve/cuff off a woman's dress.
Very beautifully
beaded and stitched with turkomen buttons, coins and metal fringing make these extra
special belts...
Each has 2 awesome
beaded discs to be worn at front, side or back. All come with
ties. |
